A collaborative wine between four friends. Puzzlegrass farms is a biodynamic farm project in Naramata BC. Owners Madison and Erin came upon a 15 year old co-planted vineyard that had been abandoned for some years. They convinced the owner to let them farm the fruit biodynamically for a year, using nothing on the vines but sprayed foraged teas. The vines were planted as a field blend of Chardonnay, Cab Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. The resulting wine was made by Keenan and Zoe. All grapes were pressed together for 8 hrs, and the wine fermented in stainless. Rusty orange rose in color, this is a very unique wine that will only be made once as the vines were torn out afterwards. Strawberries, minerals and nuts. Only 15 cases total production. As always with Keenan and Zoe’s wines, zero sulpher.
